Basic tender advice sought - relative newbie

Just an observation but SUPs are replacing tenders on lots of boats in the Med

Great toys, lousy when it comes to shifting gear for that beach barbie

I,d like to know what type of boat the “9m “ is first ?
Either a D or P boat space will be critical @9 M .
If a P then depending on how easy it’s to plane as is ......adding more Kgs tender ( biggest one that fits advice + same for the OB ) might depending on the Hp available and pre disposition to prop fouling in North Wales might knacker it’s ability to get up and plane .

Gold std would be a small life raft stowed in a suitable place for the 4 of you .More as a wife + kids insurance/ confidence....comfort in the knowledge etc etc .....going out to sea .
Then weight permitting a small slat type inflatable , to get the family on to many lovely beaches up there .
Something light enough it can be family handled and simply put on the back somewhere when motoring .
Or left packed up if planning to visit a local marina / wharf .

Difficult to be specific with out a pic of the boat tbo .

Unfortunately can't seem to upload photo as says file size is too large. Anyway, beam is 3.4m / 11 ft which is fairly wide. Swim platform seems to be obvious place. Stow the outboard in a locker presumably so it doesn't get nicked?

As you are in the marina and paying per meter I'd say weaver snap davits are your best choice. A 2.70 to 2.80 tender offset from the cockpit door should fit well enough to leave you room to get out.

Phil remember only two strokes can be put in locker

It won’t get knicked in Conwy Marina (bloody rare) and you can store a 4 stroke in a locker
A 2 is better anyway

Kwaks, you going to be a sport and break in the new guy? After your welcoming felicitations we wont look so bad and he may be more amenable to our company? ;)
