Barton 602 winches

I have 2 Barton 602 Sheet winches, which are now obsolete. They are the ratchet type as the close proximity of the spray dodgers obstructs the handle from a full 360 degree turn. Has anyone had cause to replace theirs, and if so, with what?

Not sure it is possible on your boat, but I had this problem as well so when I acquired 2 self tailing winches I moved them to the rear (spinnaker winch) position which is clear of the sprayhood. OK for me as I did not have any spinnaker winches fitted.

Why not buy a standard winch and have flaps added to your spray dodgers to allow the handle to swing.
