Barman tracker 5600 ais?

I have a Navman 5600 tracker and would like to know if I can add Ais transponder to it and which would be the best to do this.

Looking at the manual for the plotter, it would not appear to support AIS data input and display.

I did think the plotter was quite old.

Now I will look for an AIS with a screen built in.

No, it won't accept AIS data.
