I've had an excellent quote from Banks sails nr Swanwick for a cruising main and Genoa.

Raced with them years ago. Good kit then, couldn't comment about them now.

My boat has banks ... bought by previous owner as replacements for originals ... but these are medium-heavy cloth for general cruising.
No complaints, sails work ... in 10 yrs in my ownership just had Genny restitched and new UV strip. Reckon they'll go another 10 yr !

Not actually sailed with them, but have raced against Banks powered boats and have had occasion to inspect the product close up.
Nothing I've seen would put me off in any way, certainly from a cruising standpoint.

I have a main and working jib built by Banks for the last owner but one, so some time in the early-mid nineties. Very well finished sails, in good quality cloth. The main is no longer perfectly shaped, although still sets reasonably well, but the jib is still very good. I'd have no reservations.
