I thought that over 8 boats (which I think we have) will get a free night.

Do we know if that has to be Sunday night, or is it some sort of credit for a future date?

Either way I'm thinking of going to Bembridge for Sunday night as I haven't been there yet in Ariam and the tides look right for the entrance for once. Then back round the corner for the cricket on Monday afternoon and home to Southampton after.

I'm hoping to get over for Friday evening. I'm calling the Lifeboat pub on Thursday to update them on numbers, I'll call ECM later today and post later this evening if they need any additional info from individual boats.
Be a brave man I think to forecast the weather for the weekend but is it safe to say it's looking almost reasonable?
If it is I can see the marinas bursting at the hammerheads...

They probably know that Dabchick needs a risk assessment and pilotage plan with tugs available for berthing, plus a fender or two!
Should also be there around midday also (from Seaview).

I thought that over 8 boats (which I think we have) will get a free night.

No call from ECM re berthing plan though!

Just for clarification having looked at the list -- it's a total of two of us at the evening meal!

PS: seriously hope the Met Office has got this w/e right!

... and that was just for the Medina river! What were you going to do outside in the Solent :D

Still no worries; I'd have quickly downloaded the "Storm Refuges in North Brittany" thread before checking the RNLI/Coastguard discussion to make sure I'd only said nice things

Dom, keep an eye out for Kalita. We are coming from a mooring off Seaview. :encouragement:

(I warn you that SWMBO will be on board for the trip and is a tad competitive in the sailing dept! You may see a Moody 31 up on the plane!!!!!! :ambivalence: )
