Our Daughter's was in hospital up to last Friday following a rather complicated appendix mis-hap...

Hope things work out well there Col.

I had mine out when I was ten - nothing wrong with it, but I was carp at French at the time and was fed up with having my hair pulled by the sadistic Froggie teacher every Friday lesson, so I made up a 'special' tummy complaint late one Thursday night... lower-right I told my mum and got a whole week off school!!

Talking of which, boat upgrade has just cost a bit more than I expected - anyone need a kidney or half a lung?

Just a quick update to include Langstonelayabout to the list (Gerry99 is still thinking about it) Still have to find a way to persuade Tranona...

By the way, I've booked the meal for 8pm hopefully this will give us an opportunity for a Pontoon Social beforehand for those that want too.

Langstonelayabout plus 2 for the evening meal

I spoke to Rachael again today and she reeled off a long list of boat names that meant nothing to me but apparently we have a 14 metre (in old money thats a 45 footer) amongst us so I trust the bar is well stocked.
I know some already have, but if you wish let us know the name of your boat and crew so we have some idea of who's who.

I'm Colin and my Wife is Helen but as I previously said, she may not be able to join us. The other option is to bring Daughter and Grandson ie,Laura (she of missing appendix) and Leo. My friend Paul has stated his intention to join us.
Our boat is a Westerly Konsort called "Lyvette".

chubby is likely plus 1 not plus 2 but Mrs Chubby is making a rare appearance on the water so put the flags out!

Just to update Ariam's numbers - Chris is coming but Steph is not, so there will be two of us for dinner.

Not sure about the Contraption, the engine cowling is still filling up with water which tends to make the HT leads unhappy.

Will take you up on the kidney as I only have one and it now no longer works. Hope its a good match, but it will have to learn to sail a Bavaria!

Given the lousy weather this week the new boat is still in Swanwick, so looks like I could make it, with two others. Have to make some arrangements to my dyalisis to give me the space but will have to leave on Sunday to get back to Poole. Will book marina as soon as I get arrangements confirmed.

Chubby will be plus one for the meal, Mrs Chubby!, provided not raining. ECM rang and asked our ETA as doing a berthing plan! We are coming from Portsmouth and HW about 1200 so will leave Wicormarine mid morning about HW-2 to get last of flood and first of west going to Cowes, ETA about HW +1/2 depending on whether we sail slowly or motor to get more chilling and chatting time, all times approximate. I assume we haven't got the critical mass for a second night free of charge and I am sure ECM can fill the berths on a bank hol!

Should also be there around midday also (from Seaview).

I thought that over 8 boats (which I think we have) will get a free night.

No call from ECM re berthing plan though!
