morning all,
finally leaving barce due to excessive intake of bocadillos & cava depleting the cruising kitty any suggestions for more tranquil anchorages in majorca menorca etc greatly received

Puerto pollensa, alcudia, puerto soller on mallorca, Cala fornells on menorca, I'm sure there are plenty. In pollensa, theres quite a few spare moorings ariound, from the charter fleet in the summer, thats where I would go, plus a nice town, with some cheap bars, some expensive ones and a living brit community, if you're into that. Easy landing the dinghy, in the corner next to the big restaurant.

can reccomend cala portals majorca
great restaraunt but not cheap
port andraitx worht a look to and good hop point to ibiza

formentera v good
cala fornells? from memory the small island just outside from formetera harbour. lovely bay no facilites but as i say formentera harbour nearby. porto san miguel on n side biza quite nice but exposed obv in northelies
ibiza town okay, nice old town in parts.
did not like san antonio in ibiza.
