Bag for Dahon (20" wheel)folding bike - recommendations, please.

I need a bag to carry and store my Dahon Vitesse folding bike. An eBay search throws up several but there's no way of knowing which are any good.

Does anyone have any recommendations, please?

Don't buy the Dahon one. I have one and it's not really a bag at all, more a cover. You certainly wouldn't want to lift the bag with it.

I've got a "Highlander" bag for my Brompton which I got 3 or 4 years ago from Blacks for just under £30. Waterproof and as tough as old boots, the material looks as if you could use it to make an inflatable.
I don't know if your bike would fit, but mine fits in easily.

Go custom made. Got a sailmaker near you? If Faversham not too far then try Wilkinson Sailmakers (on this forum) and Alan/Sarah wil do you proud.

I bought from Compass for our Dahon Speed 6 20" wheels. 5 years use still good condition, a little large but very servicable.

I bought a couple of large sail bags for our bikes, does the job, cheap, keeps bike from being scratched and boat clean of grease from off of the chain and gears.

We have one of the new aluminium Compass folders that are pretty close to Dahons. You can buy the bags separately. They are pretty basic but do the job.
