BAD NEWS

The hardest thing will probably be getting the wife to stay in a place where you don’t run over her and to make sure she doesn’t risk her recovery by leaping into action
The story of my life -- getting SWMBO to stay in a place where I don't run her over;)

Thanks for the input, mate!

Thanks a lot. Hope it will be as easy as you describe it.
Every berthing will be slightly different, depending on wind conditions in relation to your berth. As you approach the berth, look to see where the wind is blowing from, look for flags for example. Stop the boat completely and gauge how the wind is moving you and in which direction when stationary.
If your berthing arrangement is alongside, with the wind blowing away from the berth you will have to come alongside more quickly, once you are in position with a little forward momentum, turn the helm hard over towards the pontoon and engage astern/reverse with a small burst of power, the outdrive will pull the stern over towards the jetty/pontoon.
Blowing on the berth, sit parallel away for the berth, gently controlling the bow and stern direction with the outdrive thrusts and let the wind do most of the work.
I haven’t had much experience with Med/stern-to moorings, but they will involve a lot more manoeuvring, getting ground lines to the bow around side decks, but at least you can rest alongside your neighbours boat once you are more than half way into your berthing position.

Very kind of you, AndieMac. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it with practice. Looking forward to launching the boat in Glarokavos, Halkidiki next week, courtesy of Covid 19.
