B1\'s Tahoo

Whilst in england this week met up with Tony yesterday to sail the good ship Tahoo, his P32, round to Penton brokerage. What a spendid bit of helmsmanship from the young Tony it was, stuck it straight in the gap no messing. Hope I can do that well when I reach his age/forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Shame I was hoping to see Bosun but he could'nt come/forums/images/icons/frown.gif

This means that two forumite boats are now for sale at PH, B1's and of course my Crown 37. I also went to check her out following her road trip from Brundall and all's well, only thing was, the buggers at Brooms keep my shore line. Be in touch with them Monday and no mistake.

Had a look at Tonys Pedro whilst at Chertsey, a fine vessel it is too, so roomy, with lots of nice woodwork. Wonder who made the aft cabin cruisers first Brooms or Pedro? Any wise old folks out there know?

So, why have you moved your boat to PH? If Brooms can't sell a Broom, who can?
Serious question, but probably poorly put!

Re: B1\'s Tahoo

I naturally thought Brooms the best place, took her up there in February would you believe. I spent £2.5k with them on antifoul , polishing etc, yet I had to chase them for a response all the time. Dont believe the marketed her well enough, they even stop running their MBY ad for the summer period tight buggers.

I bought her from Penton Hook, and Crowns sell well on the Thames so here goes.

Re: B1\'s Tahoo

I am considering my position. Might be a little cold in January dontcha think?
Also get it there, get it back issues, state of the river etc. How many of you? The back scratching implications will need to be clarified, of course /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
Byron has a mate with boat in St Kats I think.

Ain't yer got heating then? Getting it there no probs, its only 19nm from PH, and
"state of river" ?? do you mean are the locks open, I believe no probs downstream of PH. Staying will be Philcool & Neil.
Will email Byron too thanks CGN

Any student of American history will tell you there was an Indian Princess named Tahoe.....she of Lake Tahoe in California. Hence, a very apposite name for a Princess 32........
Oh, and thats what the boat was called when I bought her...............any more plebs around this afternoon.....and anyway, wots all this got to do with PG Tips????
