That's been there a while, they haven't been able to get it out of the sand so ripped it apart. I wouldn't paddle round there in bare feet for a few decades now. Looks like Florida coast, do you know where?

Look carefully, it's full of sand, it's been aground for a while. It probably could have been saved if tackled quickly - but it's been sitting there for a loooong time. I agree it's a waste, but alternative is probably wait years for it to break up.
 
Wouldn't swim at that beach for a while, between the diesel, oil and battery fluids spilt! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Totally noddy!
