I've got an old handle bar Avon 320 jet rib, which was missing the manual when I bought it, but tbh I'm not bothered and can live without it it ��

Hi,
I’m sorry about that thought it was my end not working! I have a 2001 handle bar version with the Yamaha engine.
One question I would like to ask has any one had there dash displays repaired when the lcd screen goes? I’ve just sent mine off to bba reman but not feeling hopeful. Im a mechanic and we use them for our Ecu and Dash issues. I have found a few second hand ones on fle bay but in America or Australia.

I also have the handlebar version, and from the little I've used it last season, lcd screen doesn't seem v.bright.
I'm about to remove it and have a good look at it, but I"m not sure it's the screen and not the powersupply tbh.
Did you check it on a clean power supply?
do let us know how the repair works out, I may need to do the same...

Yea mines definitely the screen. Got a dark black semi circle.
Really want it working at least then I know how much fuel and oil are in it!
Can’t wait to get it out.
Is yours a early version? If so do you know if there is a flush pipe anywhere to connect up to a hose pipe? Can’t see one anywhere.

yes there is!
and there's a simple adaptor for it.
bear with me I'll get a couple of pics of where it fits and how it looks like in the next couple of days or so.

it's an M8 threaded screw, made out of aluminium:
it fits somewhere there (pic captured from a video of the engine running with flush adaptor on, follow the yellow hose):
tbh I haven't yet done it, should really do it soon, planning on installing a permanent snap on adapter somewhere so I can do the flushing on the bathing platform without messing about a lot...

With apols if telling anyone how to suck eggs, but you must start the engine before turning on the hosepipe water, and turn off the water before stopping the engine. This device flushes a raw water circuit that can back fill up to the exhaust ports, hydraulicking the engine.
There is no problem running the engine with the water supply off, because there is no water pump. The cooling water pump effect is achieved at sea by taking the cooling water into the engine from a tee off the jet tube downstream of the main impeller, so that no pump (in the normal sense) is needed

Right think I found it and it looks like the same adapter as my honda outboard.
Little flat head screw top of the block facing you as you look at it.
Yea I knew you had to run engine before switching on water just was not sure where the flush inlet was.

Hi everyone, I have been scouring the internet and calling round the workshops but no one can help, so here I am!
BHG marine have stopped servicing the jet rib's and I have a problem with my engine. I have replaced the oil filter with much difficulty but am now stuck for the next stage.
I have the owners manual but it doesn't have the info or diagrams I need.
Does anyone know where I can get hold of the workshop manual? A point in the right direction would be most appreciated, thanks!

Hi all,
Have found a parts manual, just thought I'd share.
In the parts manual it is also vlear that there are 2 manuals Vol1 and Vol 2, with ref number V01068 and V01069.
Unfortunately still no manual found.

Hi again,
After reaching out to Zodiac they have shared with me Vol 1 manual, that is pretty standard safety driven and general information and Vol 2 for the 2007 version of the specific handelbar model, with the weber engine.
Unfortunately it seems that the Yamaha version manual was lost in a fire and no longer existe in their data base.... what luck...
Still they were very available and uncomplicated. Congrats ZODIAC on customer support!
So, have some additional material to share if needed, but still not the Vol2 manual for my boat ...
