Auxiliary outboard for Orkney Arcadian

Can anyone recommend the best side of outboard as a spare what do you have on yours

Look at the boat when in the water - if one sides sits naturally a bit higher than the other - that's the side - other considerations being equal!

If it's dead flat - which is easier to steer from etc.

I think OP may have meant size, perhaps an auto correction thing.
