Is there a simple/economical replacement for a 1990 Autohelm Tridata or does it involve new transducers, holes, etc? The depth and speed are both playing up and I think it's just about given up the ghost.
Many thanks for any advice.

worth a try...

before spending a lot of money: most of the unit is solid-state, especially the depth unit but they have one vulnerable area: the cables from the transducers are very thin untinned copper and very vulnerable to corrosion. have a look at them and if the wire has gone black or green, cut the end off and re-make the connections with new crimp fittings.
