autohelm st80 wind instrument light

The nightlight in my st80 wind instrument is not working. (Not a problem with the button as it will turn on the lights in the other networked intruments.) Does anyone know if it is possible / easy to fix this oneself? Any advice appreciated.

From the cct diagram there appear to be eight LEDs that light the buttons and an electro-luminescent panel that has brightness controlled by four transistors and a transformer. It is all on one pcb so unlikely to be easily fixable.

Think Raymarine would just swap out the pcb rather than fix.
