Congratulations to Swan Radcot Cruising Club, winners of the ATYC boat handling competition.

Over 100 boats at the docklands rally this weekend. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

So when are this expected 100 boats back upstream, been waiting all day to witness the carnage at Tedd lock...surely they cant all be waiting for this evenings tide? if so where are they all going to moor?

first lock out of West India was 0700 = 37 boats, most turned right, [at least 3 and myself turned left]. An extra lock at 0900 behind the sail training ship Tenacious??
rest lock out at 1500.

I don't have the details, but their top boat was called Muppet II. It was great to see so many smaller boats there, especially as they travelled so far.

Later than we expected to be honest ....

We were thinking they were going to come through 1000 onwards .... far as i know there were 5 staff at Tedders waiting for it .

Muppet was Broom Ocean 29
Black Sahire - Antaris around 30ft.

Well done to DaveBig Who very modestly ommitted to say that he came 2nd overall.
