Well said Cliff - about a month ago I posted something was meant to be clever and humourous, but it was just ignorant rubbish. Sometimes the written word, without all those nuances of speech, gesture, body language etc just lets us down. Well, it did me anyway.
I hereby humbly apologise for all those who've taken offence at my ramblings (said while raising a glass of Irish to the stalwarts of the forum who keep us all in line).
