Attention SoF boaters - new speed limit around Cap d'Antibes

Navionics is now showing the area affected by the speed limit. The red dotted line.
Been round there loads of times in the past 6 weeks and I have yet to see any kind of enforcement vessel.

Take a look at the notice board rhs of the toilets at the capitaneries office in PV .
It shows two speed limits .A 5 knot nearer ,which resembles the red line ^^^ and a 10 or what ever further out .
The outer is a straight line geometric shape , no curves

There’s also another notice “ loi “ too outlining the Lerins by laws .

But the seasons all but over they are hoicking up the yellow buoys this week all over inc Cannes .
Life guards disappeared off the beaches looks like Fr officials have disappeared too .
I never seen any enforcement since finding out and witnessed plenty flouting particularly small fast ribs and the like .

The solid red line is the existing statutory 5 knot limit that applies everywhere, no?

Limits for cinq et dix noeuds as per your opening post.

(This post adds nothing but 'noeud' is a new word for me and I wanted to try it out)

I wonder if the authorities will helpfully deploy some noeud-y buoys to mark the new speed limit?

(Weak, I know, especially by BJB standards, but worth a go nevertheless...)

Thanks J, I was going to ask because it was taking me too much to get there (as opposed to Deleted User!), but NOW I got it, eventually... :D
