I haven't seen the original thread about that QUOTE]

May I suggest you read all the available details then before you start preaching. And for someone who doesn't give " a rat's aspidistra about the sailing club here, or Nick C." , you're putting a lot of time, effort and frustration into it.

May I suggest that instead of single sentence posts with quotes and twisted context, you put some effort into a constructive counter-argument showing where I have got it all wrong. At least that would be a contribution to the debate.

Sometimes a fresh pair of eyes is what is needed. Have you seen the phantom website Kev? If so, what did you make of it?

Do we all need a little wake up call...
call an absolute halt to the whole fall out and act with dignity from 2100hrs tonight...

Well it was a gallant attempt Steve, but doesn’t look like your suggestion for a “ceasefire” held for too long (32 mins).

Is it just me or do others think, our friend “Floyd Raser” seems to be putting an awful lot of effort in (judging by the number of his posts) to an issue with which he has no direct personal involvement?
Edit: Just seen KevB's post above, clearly I am not the only one thinking this then.

Ps.
I think now might be a good time to take a copy of the whole thread so debate can continue elsewhere should that become necessary.

Good idea. Ask Admin to close this thread and move to Notthelounge or CSC's Facebook page

Clearly its a topic that does not warrant being removed, that why I suggested a cease fire. Personal emotion seams to be evident and loose cannons firing off in all directions. not ever seen a thread such as this. from the outside some people simply don't have a clue what is going on. Ill continue to read posts with an outside interest and I hope at some point those involved manage to resolve their differences.

Very good luck

I have read all the posts in this thread and your previous deleted ones and also commented sympathetically to you. What I feel many other contributors miss is the bitter taste about what has happened to you, being kicked out of your club after 25 years without any satisfactory reason.

However after such a long period of time, only you can decide whether you should spend even more time on this matter, or you should just move on. I can understand why you still keep this on the forum, it seems to be the only place that you can comment about your treatment. It seems you have been unable to get the matter raised in the club and I feel it is unlikely this will ever happen now. You have mentioned the RYA rules, yet you have not asked for their advice or assistance to resolve the matter. Unless you do this then nothing will happen. I doubt if you are a man of great means, so the legal route for redress could be beyond you pockets. So realistically those numbties in you old club have won.

Well none of us have!!! but you seemed so willing to invite comment & place your side of the matter in the public domain. Fortunately some have seen through you & for what you are.

Oh so right, and of course every time it's the non-sailors with big mouths !

And guess who doesn't sail?

The person who wrote that threatening email about the outboard engine in the original thread, same person who's email was attached in post #40, formerly {personY} now known in new anonymised website as {partner6}.

He only bought into the boat share to cause trouble, or so it seems.

This thread is very educational unless you think you know it all. It is a very good lesson in human psychology.

I was the last person to get personally insulted here and I say let the thread go on.

You are reading this, yes you, the bloke who just clicked on the thread leader, because you have done so at your own free will and in your own time. Time which you could be spending doing something else. So now you're as sad as the rest of us. An even sadder waste of time would be to click and post a comment saying we should all stop posting.

And if you want to take it somewhere else, fine. Just surround yourselves with those who agree with you.

Paranoid or what? I wish I had so much much money I could buy a boat just to p*ss someone off. And I wonder what the guy's motivation was behind the move if it's true? That information is classified but there seems to be a hell of a lot of people who have gone out of their way to have a go at NickC.

So without hearing anything from the club, what gives you cause to call them Numpties? I thought your post was very well balanced until the end.

No effort at all unless you're a one finger typist. Try 2000 words a day for a bit and you'll soon speed up. What do expect after a personal insult, and you still keep having a go. This what the club members must have endured for years and years.

Take it somewhere else by all means so you can be with your supporters. But then there will be no debate because you will all agree. Not the point really is it?
