Size of rope part only

FWIW, the charter code requires 12mm rope with 6mm and 8mm chain and 14mm rope with 10mm chain. This is for the main anchor and applies up to anchor mass of up to 27kg. Where the anchor mass is (required to be) greater, it seems that all chain rode must be provided.

For the kedge anchor, a combination chain/rope rode is accepted up to 34kg anchor mass: 10mm rope to 6mm chain, 12/14 mm rope to 8mm chain and 14/16mm rope to 10mm chain.
