Attaching picture to bulkhead

...The problem is the faded (or rather, not-faded) patch left behind when the picture is removed. We have two big ones of those on Ariam; I've mostly got used to seeing them but at A3 sort of size they're certainly far more visible than a couple of screw holes. I have a couple of new pictures to mount which will cover the screw holes, but not the patches because the new pics are "landscape" rather than "portrait".

Ah, so you need a set of pictures chosen to leave faded patches which blur into each other so the grading is not visible.

And if putting up sticky patches, perhaps best to stick a short length of tape up first with a folded-over end for peeling off. Then then the patches onto that?

I use 3M Command Picture Hanging Strips - they hold hard, let you reposition or take the picture down for cleaning and are supposed to be removable without leaving a trace on most surfaces.

I've used these too - very good.

Adhesive backed Velcro would be fine. No holes and you could remove the picture without trace if later you wanted to.

They work very well (at least in dry conditions) and best of all they simply peel off leaving no marks when you want to be rid of them
