Just looking at the photo, I always wondered how cutter-rigged boats tacked - How do you keep getting the front gib on the other side of the rear jib? Is it not a bit of a faff?
Ah - I should have guessed - I thought it looked like a Stephen Jones design

You tack the genoa as normal, grinding the sail in on one of the cockpit coaming winches. You can then pull the staysail across by hand and tension it on a companionway winch. The loads are quite light on the staysail.
