Arvor, pro\'s and cons
I want to buy a used Arvor and have started to look on the web sites at the models for sale. I don't need a large boat as there will usually only be two of us on board, so I thought the Arvor 18 or 20 may be ok for us. Some 18's have the 50hp diesel and some have the 85hp, the 50hp seems too small to me, anyone got any advice on that point and other points to look out for e.g. make of diesel Nanni or VW. I prefer the diesel because of the better fuel economy and want a bathing platform on the stern with easy access to the cockpit which is not as good with an outboard, hence reason looking at Arvor rather than other fast fisher types which usually have outboards such as Merry Fisher or Quicksilver. I only want to spend up to £15,000 as have a limited budget
