Arvor 230 as

We were looking at similar boats last year.
SIBS was great as you could go back and forth between the different makes to compare bits and pieces.
The Arvor looks a good sturdy boat, and I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed with one.
I think you first have to decide what you want from a boat; the questions I would ask are:
1. Do you want diesel? (all Arvors are diesel I think), after November there will be debatable running cost differences between fuels, and the upfront cost will be £5k is over a comparable petrol.
2. Do you want to stay overnight on the boat, how comfortable/suitable is it?
3. What ratio of deck to cabin size do you want?

We were initially looking at a Quicksilver 640 Pilothouse, but eventually went for a Quicksilver 640 Weekender, as it offered similar deck size, but with a cabin you would want to spend overnight in.
