Arthur Ransome (auto)biographies

Can anyone enlighten me as to the difference between “The Autobiography of Arthur Ransome” published 1976 and “The Autobiography (Century lives and letters)” published 1985?

The 1985 book is basically a cheap paperback copy of the earlier hardback book, both print companies are owned by the penguin group.

I enjoyed reading Arthur Ransome's Racundra's' first Cruise and then the Third Cruise.

Need to check whether there was a Second Cruise.

Edit - just checked and there isn't a second cruise.

Wasn’t the second cruise of Racundra done by Adlard Coles, who bought the boat - and part of the agreement was not to use the name Racundra?

Adlard-Coles' book about bringing Racundra back to the UK was "Close-hauled".

I enjoyed it.
