Following on from my post regarding the non cranking/starting engine, although it is now running I'm not 100% convinced it's resolved.

Can anybody enlighten me as to what constitutes a 'Neutral Safety Switch' in the VP TAMD74L-B EDC? I understand what it's for but I'm struggling to find info on what it consists of or a parts diagram showing it or where it might be fitted. I have seen in the TAMDxxx Instruction book a diagram which includes a 'Neutral Switch' and an 8-Pin connector but it is vague.

Typical, as soon as I post something I find more info. I see online what may well be what I am referring to;

Neutral Switch

Would this be fitted inside the EDC lever control box, it looks like a simple micro switch, to detect the actual lever's position? One would one be used for each lever I guess?
