Yes but you have a whole season to look forward to practising Med berthing as you set off on your travels - great boat -now the fun starts again.

I know you were busy and had lots of things on your mind so I took some pics on the delivery.
Here are some - I hope you don't mind.
Fuelling before leaving Saint Maxime
Then crossing the Gulf of Lions
To begin with at 8 knots - to be sure of the range.
Then at 20 knots to finish the passage
Here are a couple of unedited video clips showing the sea state and how she handled it.
And then after a long day - the sunset as we ran into Palamos.
And I couldn't resist posting this pic - a very proud new skipper.
All that was left then was the final 150 mile run down to her new home at Sant Carles.
Hope you like the pics.

If it weren't that I know the model, I would have said she's not more than half a dozen of years old, if that!

Thank goodness Hurricane was there with the camera. I seriously thought they'd have to go back and do the whole thing again for the crime of failing to provide pix for the forum

Very nice !! ... and the exhaust noise from the DD's does not sound too intrusive... does she have water traps on the exhausts or is she straight through ??

LOL, I also noticed the sound while looking at the video, but thought exactly the opposite.
Everything is relative I suppose, you'd probably think that my boat is electric in comparison!

Ours are through large water traps and we hear very little of the typical DD exhaust noise ... and when we throttle up, we hear more the rumble of our three bladed props, ... which swing too close to the hull (on my to-do list), not the typical DD exhaust note... but the straight six DD sound a bit different to the V's anyway.
I just thought that Seralia did not sound too loud .... but it is difficult to judge based upon a short video clip... the crew and owner will know, hence my Q ... and even that will be subjective of course... some love the sound, others don't...

In any case the boat is a beauty and delivery trip must have been very exiting.
Regarding the sound on the videao, the 150 fly also has under water exhausts with a small by pass which should mute the exhaust note almost completely. Often videocameras have automatic sound level gain and therefore it is impossibe to judge the absolute noise level from a video. A fellow boater at the marina has a boat with the same 2stroke DD but with straight transom exits and that is music, not noise...

All Ferrettis I've ever looked at have had proper underwater exhausts, not exhausts that exit an inch or 2 under the waterline at the transom but usually exiting the hull a few feet forward of the transom. It does usually make them fairly quiet boats. The noise in Hurricane's vid is not exhaust noise but mechanical noise from the engines and of course underwater exhausts are not going to help that although once again, Ferrettis usually have very good soundproofing in the engine bay. Agree that vids tend to magnify noise levels

I can do. She's been in the boatyard the last two days getting new hull paint and shiny props.
I'll post some pics (or get Hurricain to post some).
Hopefully be out over the weekend so I'll get some pics up.

By hull paint, you mean a/f, I suppose?
I'm asking because I'd be surprised if Ferretti gelcoat, even after all those years, would be bad enough to need repainting - particularly since it ain't blue or black...

The gel is fine, needs a good polish but certainly doesn't need painting

Been out to the lagoon and the town and beach are lovely in the sunshine. Don't regret the purchase or the choice to keep her out here one bit
