Arrived!

Jez, must have missed it on previous photos, but you have the same passarelle as me. Mine is rated to 280 kgs, probably just has a bigger hydraulic cylinder, and I regularly lift right on that limit at full extension.

What makes you think yours hasn't been fitted correctly? I agree you need to check the mountings, but I'd have thought it's far more likely that it has been retrofitted properly and will easily lift the WB. The crane may not be working because the previous owner didn't use it once he had fitted the pass.

Great pictures, btw what is the purpose of the protracted pulpit rail, do you or anyone know ?

My guess would be so that the anchor light and ball could be suspended over where the anchor chain enters the water. (Possibly now out of date Italian regulation. I have seen this kind of feature on Bart's boat. No doubt MapisM will be along in a moment to tell me I have got it all wrong.............:D )

I helped Jez lift his boat into the boatyard and that pulpit extension was a real PIA.
Fat gits can't get through it - I had to swing daintily round - much to the amazement of the boatyard staff!!

But I see what you mean - anchor ball/light might work well there.

Hurricane took some pics of her freshly painted and clean so I may stick those up later

Internet working well here at the moment (it is often quite slow) so I've uploaded 6 pics of the boat in the yard.

Unfortunately, the weather hasn't been that good over the last 36 hours - rain means we are all tucked up inside our boats.
But over the last week, we have had some really good weather.
Whilst Jez was in the lagoon last Saturday, we took our new RIB down the coast to Alcanar for lunch - lovely sunny day.

I'm surprised at the number of anodes that are fitted on the stern, I counted 3 for each trim tab, plus an additional 4 along the stern plate.....does it actually require this amount, especially as it looks like shaft anodes are also to be fitted?

No idea, but I couldn't see the point in taking any off.

Shaft anodes needed replacing so they were done

Not sure of how I earned the reputation for telling folks that they got it all wrong, but heyho...! :D

Fwiw, I'm not sure it was a mandatory regulation, but definitely many IT yards in the good old days fitted the allround white at the bow.
Btw, that doesn't necessarily imply a higher/overhanging pulpit rail - in my boat, it was just a vertical pole at the bow with the allround white on top, for instance.
But several yards fitted also that type of extended pulpit. And regulations aside, I for one actually like it, but it's definitely in the "each to their own" field... :)

She's looking really good Jez, but I reckon you'll get another 10k if you remove half those anodes

My generator arrived safely in SCM today and we hope to get out in a couple of weeks, weather looks wet on the Webcam today but it should start heating up soon. Can't wait to get back out in the lagoon....!
