Assuming you mean the "symptom" is a holed or otherwise swamped hull and the "problem" by your way of thinking is either the breach in the hull or the events leading to the "problem" (swamping)...

In other words - don't consider how to mitigate the situation, should the "problem" turn out to be unsurmountable!

This is the kind of rubbish that turns me right off these forums - you are saying AVOID finding yourself with a holed or swamped boat - or else do not fail to effect a repair - instead of considering the contingency of an unexpected, unavoidable or irreparable event.

Dragonfly tris. Flood every compartment - won't sink. Closed cell foam core construction and no keel.

Similar to other foam cored multis, as SL already stated.

Noticed a couple at the La Rochelle show yesterday, the usual foam between inner and outer mouldings. But this only works on relatively small boats, or one loses considerable storage space. In France, being unsinkable relieves one of the mandatory life-raft regs (I think) not much help in the fire situation, tho.
