Are boats like women, can you ever be fully satisfied?

I considered this but have elected to fit a larger anchor to mine - a solution that results in me bing bigger than him seems so much more appealing then one that makes him smaller than me................. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

It does not matter what it is or how often you change, one's ideal will always be slightly more than one can afford.

That said I'm pefectly happy with my wife and boat, but then I know I cannot afford to change either.

I think it's a matter of mission. Boaters who cruise or are into offshore fishing always want bigger. No matter the expense. But those who just do water sports want excellence. And once that is achieved (say "Mastercraft" or "Nautique" with reverence) are satisified for years to come.

Boats are very much like women, they can be sleek and racy or tubby and homely. Then, on the other hand, women arer like boats, they demand a great deal of upkeep and cost a fortune. Now as to being satisfied.....

It's only natural that everyone in the world who doesn't own my boat (or failing that, at least a pale copy of her) should want to continue searching for The Perfect One. Only I (and the management of Redmer & Wilke boatyard) know where she is. So tough.

Pete!
You have a lovelly wife who is at least 50 years younger than you, or if not she certainly looks it. I think too much excitement at your age may not be good for you.
Let us know how little Archie is doing? I'm sure he is something on your tray you treasure.
