Aquafax tender review

It can be rolled up & packed away

I meant does it have a roll-up slatted floor, or do you already have an airdeck?

The Aquafax Airdeck is cheaper, but I suspect you'll find it of lower quality than your Zodiac. The Zodiac Cadet Aero is welded and glued (rather than simply glued), and has a 5 year warranty (versus 2 years for the Aquafax). It might be a better long-term buy. I have a Zodiac Cadet Aero 240 which has been great. Ron Hale is offering the Cadet Aero 270 at £950.

It’s looking like the Zode Aero 270.

It’s looking like the Zode Aero 270.
The Honwave T27 looks very comparable, but £50 cheaper from the first suppliers I find for each.

Looks like the Honwave is the same tube diameter but 3kg heavier (less than 10%). The Honwave is rated category C and for an 8HP ourboard (I run mine with 10HP), whereas the Zodiac Cadet 270 Aero is category D and for 6HP.

I have the Honwave T27-IE whereas the current model is T27-IE2, but I can see no obvious difference between them (haven't checked the specs closely). I absolutely love my Honwave - when I was in Plymouth I rowed it regularly 1km each way down the harbour to do my groceries, and now my outboard is running again it planes lovely.

But then the Honwave has a 2 year warranty, and the Zodiac has a 5 year warranty....
