Google "Cruisers Forum" It is a very big international forum with a uk section and no silly banned comment. You can say what you like when you like. Good old American free speech and a mass of interesting threads.

Not being controversial or not being allowed to say stuff saves us having to read rubbish and bothering to write rubbish
Seems some people never left school and need a teacher to tell them how to think, what to say and when to shut up.

It's not completely free speech. Overtly political posts are discouraged and have occasionally been removed. The main drawback for me is that it is broken down into many special interest sub-forums that are either difficult to follow or have no relevance to me.

Most of the forums on here have no relevance to me and most other members so what are you going on about. Being broken down into sub forums, ie anchoring, batteries, keel shapes, marine engines etc means you can follow what is interesting to yourself.

I'm not sure why this message seems to be targeted at me?

SocialKnowledge who own the Cruisers Forum operate a number of forums with very different moderation policies. It is big but like this place feels UK focussed, it seems to have American bias and therefore lots of "feet and inches, dollars, etc". That's perfectly reasonable but if you were looking for, say, insurance for a UK boat it might not be the best place to start.

Sorry it was meant for aqua_sax who found himself cancelled. I was giving him another option for a forum. I have changed the title. Cheers

You clearly can't follow the rules.

Discussing mod decisions in the forum is against the rules, which is why aqua_sax was banned, one presumes. So you open yet another thread about that one.

You then promote an alternative forum.

When you were recently banned you opened another account "Shaz77", that carries a permanent ban.

So leave, I'm sure you won't be missed.

I joined for a while. I had to 'take down' a racist redneck who was extremely critical of our Governments immigration system and our Colonial past.

I reminded him of the Genocide of the Native American Indians. He went very quiet.

As a forum, not for me.

YBW own the forum and set the rules. Seems fair enough.

Personally I am very glad not to have “American freedom of speach” on here, as it isn’t relevant to boating (and there are lots of elements of USA that are best left on that side of the pond).

I guess the autumn holiday season will be starting.

Can we get back to anchors ? I just repainted my Rocna with this to cover some rust
