Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a total mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

I dont agree with you, it is difficult enough to read some of what is written here as it is. Perhaps all posts s......d u..e your theory. It is clearly easier to spell.

Clearly can’t be ‘should use’... I give up! Please complete for me.

They only did the research so that they could excuse their bad spelling by saying it doesn't matter.

Apparently the spam emails that have been going around only give part of the report, which says that the first and last letters have to be the same, there have to be the correct number of letters in the word, and certain (as yet unidentified) letters have to be present in the word. Which is why just leaving out the middle letters, or putting any old letters between the end ones doesn't work.

Re: Smoe Clurute

I know that one.

"The Sunsail Flotilla arrives off of Le Vieu Chevre et Pédéraste"
Édouard Manet (1832-1883)
From the collection of the Musée de la Patisserie et Charcuterie, St Napoléon des Deux Chevaux.

Re: Backward speak, no backward sail tho!!

I did sail backwards once, years ago, thinking I could sail directly into the wind - and I'm sure I could repeat it on command

(PS if this appears twice, my computer timed itself out)
