There's no need to apologise - Dear Heart will be sorry enough when she steps aboard the cross channel ferry if the forecast is to be believed.
Now - you won't know this but a little while ago - Para and I were chatting about you and the fact that you are - well - small. I was trying to defend your integrity to the auld sod by saying that some of your posts were pure magic. Somehow that did get a little corrupted but if you should hear any references to a "4ft 9' streak of poisoned wizadry" when next you talk to the pensioner, I hope that you can understand where it came from and don't feel any need to press for an apology.
