With Leander G rolling in, it is going to be quite some party. If anyone is nipping over and would like an extra pair of hands, let me know. I'm around in Hamble all day.

I've been on Eleonora this week, last race tomorrow around the solent starting at 10. Give me a wave if you're passing, I'm at the back on the runners.
Leander dragged her anchor this afternoon and nearly ended up on the new breakwater. Trinity house boat Galletea gave her a tow back to safety.

Dragging anchors... cool. I was wondering if anything exciting was going on. Ended up at tge Acience festival in Chelt 'that cool' ;/)

Wo did you say Le.ander had a tow?! No one on board to start the engines?! She usually has a superb crew so I am very surprised.

Rumour has it she dragged her anchor and fouled her props on trinity buoy so Galletea gave her a tow plus others acting as tugs to keep her from spinning onto the new breakwater while divers freed her and moored her up safely. Must have been hairy on board

Went over to cowes this morning and had a nice lunch at the folly, returned this afternoon, some wonderful squadron boats around. Had a good run there and back, not many boats out this afternoon... We had good fun out there.
