Hi all

I have a Mirror Offshore on my driveway and the boss would like it gone. I'm a bit precious about her as she was my first boat. Does anyone wanting to down size or want a cheap boat to run want her. I'll let anyone have her on hire for a token pound for as long as they want. I know at some point I'll want her back but not for the foreseeable future while I have the big boat. At least 10 years. She's on a trailer but not really a trailer sailor as the trailer is home made and a bit ropey. I can delivery to any where on the east coast. Loads of gear all you would need for east coasting. A little TLC needed as well.

Any way just putting it out there

I offered a small boat, in good sound condition, to Sea scouts ...... didn't even get a reply.

Not wishing to black cat you, but I sold a Hunter Europa MkII, fully kitted out including a Honda 5 HP outboard, to the Maldon Sea Cadets for £1 with the stipulation that it should be used for youngsters for safe sailing and couldn't be sold on by them for two years.

That was in 2013 and I haven't seen it afloat since that date plus reports from other members of my yacht club to the effect that the boat is in bad condition and not looked after, makes me reluctant to recommend any such offers in the future.

Next time I shall chose the receiving unit for my largesse very carefully.

If it's the small boat I think it is, you may be pleased to know that we're in the process of sorting it out and it will shortly be on loan to be used to establish the new North Fambridge Yacht Club dinghy section

(I don't suppose you've got the gooseneck by any chance? We seem to be ungoosed at the moment!)
