That's better but I think something similar should be possible for about 50 quid. What about fabricated from scratch, anyone know where I can buy just the fittings? Table and poles I could rustle up for next to nothing
The table pedestal is the Lagun and as you say, it retails for around £150. There is a marine chandler in the States who distributes the exact same piece of kit (different name) at about half this price. Unfortunately they do not ship to the UK. I had a friend who was in the States at the time and he brought one over for me. He just put it in his suitcase. Excellent piece of kit.
Ah. I had one of those on Kudu. Very good bits of kit. I shall ask the new owner if it's for sale next time I see her, as I think it may now be surplus to requirements.
Was thinking about making an 'L' shaped leg out of box section. I need something so that the table top can swing in and out of the way, any ideas for a bracket? I'm not sure what name a fitting like that would even go by.
Two u bolts and a 90deg bend of heavy wall stainless steel might be as good a place as any to start when designing from scratch . Using boatjumble suppliers of course. ?tenner all in?
