Yes he says that in #1. That's what I hi-lighted in my quote, but given only the front half of a pair of feet it's difficult to make much of an estimate of the actual dimensions of the thing.

it looks like a length of builder's damp proof course, about the right size, so something homemade. All the strange items you would find on my boat are usually something to do with pigeons, or more accurately, their droppings.
