Anyone know of \"Keypart\"

I have been searching for a company called "keypart" who are suppliers of marine engine spares. I have searched the internet which just bombards me with loads of similar names.

I believe keypart do reasonably priced Volvo and Mercruiser spares, which is why I want to find them - £40 for one oil filter really p1sses me off!!

Dave
they are o.k for a few things, but be carefull and make sure you check the prices aaginst motor factors!! I didn't listen to Barryh and it cost me £40.00 for a pump diaphram when i could have bought the whole pump for £8.00

Nothing in particular at this stage Barry. A chap I know mentioned them some time back. He also mentioned that if I get the serial numbers of the engines and drives, that they would keep them on file for any future purchases, also they could give an outline of what lines they do for those engines and drives.

Ah yeah, they bung you on their mailing list. Then they do a mail shot that is of interest to you and your engine/drive. Good idea as it saves wading thru all the crap.

I needed some new reverse pawl latches. Couldn't believe the price each. So I just buzzed them with the welder and filed back to appropriate profile. Saved meself a load of dosh.

but for really cheap anodes/leg gaiters and bits try Screwfix.

Re: Thanks Chaps - nm

The web site is a bit crappy though. You can't get prices directly from it and they assume that your going to purchase it. The time it takes you might as well phone'em with what you want.

Very helpful tho.spend ages with me when i need some super rare bolts for my
280T.In the end they ordered from sweden and still got a bit off the price.

Re: Thanks Chaps - nm

Super Rare bolts! Never go to VP for any bolts. I always go to Jones Industrial fasteners. They do super rare bolts. If they haven't got it in stock then they'll make it. Bet they charged you in the region of 14/15 quid from sweden.
