Anyone in Neyland?

A small group of us are looking at going into a joint venture for a dive boat and there's a Newhaven Sea Warrior 28 on the hard called Langstone Warrior. If anyone is anywhere around tomorrow would be interested in your opinion as to condition, could save us a 7 hour round trip from Devon on Friday, or otoh could raise the expectation levels...........

Hi Dave. We took a close look at the pics on the brokers site and decided we didn't like what we saw so gave it a miss. Did look at a local Newhaven and also decided it wasn't the right boat for us. Thanks for your help.

A few years ago I was pleasantly impressed with Blackwater sports fisher boats for that purpose:

A small new brit builder.
Talking with them at SIBS, (2009) I had the impression that some good deals could be done buying directly from this builder.


and ofcause you have Kingfisher and Aquastar in that segment, you sure know.
what is the plan ?
is it purely for leisure or also a bit commercially ?

Just a group of 3 friends, we all have boats already but fancy something specifically for diving that we can share. Thought we had found what we wanted but it sold to someone who got to it just 24 hours before we did. Shame cos it's local and built specifically as a dive boat. No matter, we're not desperate. Purely for pleasure.
