Oxalic acid is Illegal to buy, sell, transfer or possess as a private individual now, unless in a pre-prepared product like Y10 with concentration 10% or less. There still seem to be a few rogue sellers online but any links here get removed and the poster sent to sit on the naughty step.Is this to remove rust and water stains from fibreglass? If yes, Google 'Oxalic acid', that's the active ingredient in virtually all of them, in a lot of teak cleaners too. Just buy the crystals and mix/dissolve them in warm water, it will do the same job at 1/20th of the price
I use oxalic acid now and again, and it does a great job removing rust and grime, but this stuff seems to leave the deck and the hull brighter and cleaner. Is this to remove rust and water stains from fibreglass? I'll try to get a better photo if it's still there tomorrowThe first ingredient listed, cas number 7647-01-0 is hydrochloric acid. Hard to read the second one but there is also phosphoric acid (cas 7664-38-2) and polyethylene glycol listed.
It may have a chelating agent in as some deck cleaners do. They are good at getting rid of some stains other stuff won't touch. The first ingredient listed, cas number 7647-01-0 is hydrochloric acid.
