Anyone been along the Broomway lately? In a van?

I hope this story being all over social media doesn’t attract tourists to the area, especially knowing how treacherous the Broomway can be.

There is the true story of a lady having a dirty weekend in a rented cottage in West mMersea. She was following her GPS into Colchester and mistakenly drove into one of the caravan sites and onto the sea wall.

She called the AA for help in getting off. The policy was in her husbands name so when the AA contacted him, her shennagins with her lover were revealed.

As my father used to remind me “ be sure your sins will find you out “.

I saw a car that had driven sideways off the public slip at Stone and down the rocks by a lady who was over refreshed, there’s plenty of them out there.

In earlier times (2000's) my Tom Tom recommended a route via Felixstowe Ferry for cars seeking to go to the Bawdsey Peninsular ... happy days
I was standing by the fish shop when a family in a car asked for directions to the ferry.
"Just round the corner on the right. Good luck"
