There's a BIG bunch of us in Agios Nikolaos Marina, Crete. Many are here all winter, a few go home over Christmas. There will be lots going on here this winter too, as usual. Great fun!

We've arrived at Corfu and are technically now Gouvia liveaboards... Though you wouldn't guess this as we've spent every night at the outlaws' house since we arrived.
I'll see if I can update the blog today, certainly does need an update!

There are loads of us in the Med (my guess is around 2000). We are with many others in Finike, Turkey this winter (with our cat). Some of us find Italy rather expensive and the weather is not so reliable in the winter - may be there next year though.

May I ask what you found expensive in Italy ? our marina for 6 months is 1000 Euros food no more then any where else yes fuel cost more then some country but I don't think it any cheaper in Turkey .this business about Italy is very expensive keep coming up , we have sails just over 3000 NM this year and quite a lot of that was in Italian waters , ie Sicily, west coast Italy and Sardinia and other then the fuel we not seen a big different , food bill up by about 10% from last year in Greece , but then I guess it gone up in Greece since last year .
as long as you don't use marinas we found it no more then any where else .

We have lived, over the past 16 years, in:
Haslar, Gosport
Estepona, Spain
Puerto Calero, Lanzarotte
Jolly Harbour, Antigua
Many years on and off, Marina Bay, Gibraltar.
Will one day spend some time in Malta. Brill place!!

Whereabouts in Italy are you and what's your marina/surrounding town like? Always great to get inside information for a potential next winter stop

I've heard that the winter weather in Malta can be wet and windy......i'm going to keep an eye on it with the webcam!
