I managed a decent, for this time of year, sail out to Medusa and managed to carry the spinnaker all the way back to Levington when the wind dropped entirely. Picked up a mooring for the night there (on the opposite side from the marina) and arrived in the home berth this morning just before it started raining.

Was anybody else out? Sadly only two or three weekends left this season for me :(

Yes, I was on a mooring opposite you and I think it must have you who followed me back from the Medusa? Lovely light this morning and the pick of all the moorings!!
Had the heater and radio on last night - dinner in the oven and a nice bottle of red flavour. Lovely and cosy. :)

And here are some pics taken Sunday Morning

Yep

Out both mornings recovering moorings at Marconi SC on the Blackwater. Agree with you about the light this morning - stunning. Took a really inadequate picture on mobile phone...

Went out Saturday morning with a couple of mates on their boat - just up the Deben, excellent lunch at Ramsholt and then motored back to the Ferry. Probably last sail of the season. Next week I'll be on board winterizing the engine and removing the sails etc.

Last sail of the season........was planning to do a couple of christmas sails but picked up something round the prop in Ioswich Wet Dock just coming into my berth today so thats probably stuffed me :(

Yes. We had a lovely relaxing, lazy sail out as far as Outer Crouch and back into Yokesfleet on Saturday. 11 seals on the shore who hardly bothered to wake up as we anchored opposite them. Motored back in dead calm on Sunday morning, till a bit of wind filled in as we went through Burnham, so we tried sailing, then it started raining, so it all got a bit miserable. It really feels like winter now.

Turned back at Medusa around 2pm, I think we passed each other near Stone Banks. I did briefly consider tacking and heading down the Wallet to West Mersea but the 5am start to catch the morning tide put my off that idea, can't think why.

I sailed off the mooring on Sunday but didn't make any progress against the last of the ebb tide so drifted downsteam along with 'WB 103' and then followed the early flood up to Pin Mill before dropping the sails and motoring the last mile.
