Any one had to replace a water intake hose from a DP-E leg ?

I did change the water inlet hose on my DP-G drives. They are same as the DP-E.... Very very difficult I must say. You pull the hose out from the inside of the transom - just behind the engines. Depending on the boat you have it may even be impossible without the engines out!. I have fairly good access in my Windy 37 but I have seen many engine bays where I would consider a change impossible.

Hope you find a way.

:)

The local Volvo dealer had a quick look at it and said ‘engine out’
With the phone i can just about photograph the internal end, reaching it no way.
Most dealers say that for the most ridiculous of jobs including if the heat exchanger leaks on the D range motor , even starter motor change .
Think in all the years I’ve been doing this job I’ve taken 1 engine out an old sunseeker as the 2 bolt heads sheared off the transom shield and that’s it .
Where is your boat ?
