Was there today and took this. Had a Nice Brekkie in Millies in Westgate.

I was wondering if any of you boat in this area and if it is any good

Millies is a nice place see below Took today with my Mini 3 Pro

We were out from Ramsgate up past Margate towards Reculver yesterday, loved every minute of it, calm sea, not much traffic and so sunny.

Frequently transit the area and often spent a few days in Ramsgate Marina.

Lots of little bays in and around the chalk cliffs local to the North Foreland but frankly all best visited by road.
Can be a very exposed coast and very few places (none sheltered) to launch/ recover or to run if it turns a bit lumpy.
Only Ramsgate in one direction and a long way to the Swale or Sheerness to the west.
Broadstairs always worth a visit to sample 1950s Britain (fish and chips) and Margate with the Tate for those capable of living in the 21st century, ie. lots of little artisan cafes and candle shops.
Recovering the lifeboat Margate Beach.
