Any Javelin 30 owners out there?

We’ve been offered an orphaned Javelin 30 (as good as free). The boat is complete but needs recommissioned. Are there any Javelin 30 owners out there we could talk to about the sailing characteristics etc?

Haven't sailed on one but should sail well. Full survey may be worth while to check there are no expensive surprises - especially the engine and generally. There is a Forum Thread 'Javelin 30' dated 2009.

Hi, I used to own one. Great, fast, safe sailers, but with limited accommodation compared to modern boats. It's not Aquaholic, is it? - perhaps in a yard on the IOW?
