In general I think the moderation is fine, I’ve certainly agreed every time they banned me! Would be nice if they could ban multiple user accounts though, some are very obvious!

Ridiculous. Though, for the sake of transparency, I did pick up Mike Pickles (can't remember his forum id) for some fairly blatant promotion of Harbour Marine Services, Southwold in a few of his posts. Which he accepted with grace and didn't hesitate to give me helpful advice via PM. I felt guilty afterwards and wouldn't do it again. I'm grateful for the input Paul Rainbow, Owen/Vyv Cox, Nestaway etc give on this forum. This forum will die with the moderation that goes on.

What is a 'multiple user' account
Its another rule - you are not allowed multiple accounts. If you know of them and they detract from the Forum you should use the report facility. If you don't report them then you have yourself to blame - though the Moderators may not agree with your report. Arguing in public with Mods decisions is also part of another rule. Another rule, or part of the same, don't criticise the Mods in public.where a person has multiple accounts. A certain anti-lithium fanatic springs to mind.
Owen's view is that preventing him from advising on heater issues is the forum's loss. He has absolutely no need to promote his products in this very small audience - the product is a huge success story in UK, outselling its rivals by far.I some times find that Mods are selective in their application of the rules. Clipping Owen's wings AND banning Vyv seemed a bit harsh - punishing the father for the 'sins' of the son? - but the Mods are right so I accept it (as did Vyv and Owen). As long as you stay on the right side of the rules you can remain a member - which, I think, allows you to use PMs

Motorhomes and camper vans are his major buyers. Most of his business goes to installers, although private owners remain a large part of overall sales. Boats are pretty low in the sales figures.I pondered on this yesterday and wondered if caravans were a bigger market anyway for, diesel, heaters. I do recall his posts on the heaters and his assessment of the competition.
Its good to hear that he is doing well.
