Any Cheap Moorings Yokshire coast for fin keeler

Can anyone point me in the direction of reasonably priced moorings for a 24ft fin keeler on the yorkshire / N east coast ?
As this is my first boat, I need all the help I can get

you do not say on your profile where you are from. I have been into Grimsby a few times over the years and the club there is very friendly. I understand it is also reasonably priced and sugest you contact them. If it is the Humber you are interested in do a search on Humber, if no good results try East coast or Yorkshire as I am sure this question has been asked in the last 18 months. I sail around Felixstowe and find many sailors from Yorkshire moor down there because the sailing is so good. Unless you are North Yorkshire the harbours do seem to be a long distance apart. Not many possibilities really.

Grinsby marina is very reasonable on mooring but not sure of terms, think maybe a deposit of some sort required.

Hull Marina is a bit dearer but lots less than S Coast think about £120/metre

Clapsons at South Ferriby may be cheaper - enter Humber through lock around high water.

Brid harbour has cradles I think owned by RYCC may be worth a phone call

Scarboro I think is full with waiting list but again a call to yacht club may help

Whitby is ridiculous, they charge you to apply for a mooring, and if you don't take it immediately they keep your money - local council run!

Some moorings on Tees but I think drying so no use to you

Hartlepool Marina quite expensive now about £147/metre

Royal quays on Tyne about same as Hpool

Other moorings on Tyne - Friars Goose and trot moorings around S Shields but dunno any details.

Forgot

A marina at Goole used to be quite cheap but dunno present rates. Can be fun if you enjoy pain!
