Bob,

I can only advise that I've used Seajet Emporer and have been extremely pleased with the result. It's not the cheapest a/f but seems extremely good. I'm Portsmouth based and floating all year round.

Another vote for JOTUN. Great experience on the Tamar (Saltash): much better than previous experiences (including XM). Scrubbed once mid season - not much there anyhow, and the hull was essentially clean, bar a couple of barnacles where the paint had not been applied properly (beneath the cradle props in places). The saildrive had Trilux and was in MUCH worse condition.

last year in Falmouth one coat of Seajet Shogun (all hull) plus a small tin of Emperor around waterline and keel edges only as topcoat worked really well May to November afloat.

I'm on a half tide, high fouling area

Tried Tiger and International 1 coat - both needed a good mid season scrub. End of season I had a fair number of barnacles but only in isolated areas. Both were adequate.

This year I've moved onto Seago Eroding for High Fouling areas. I'm expecting the same sort of result.

Sadly, have to report very poor performance from SEAGO over last two years in Chichester. Time to move on and try yet another ...... but do the formulations stay constant long enough for any comparisons to ever be meaningful?
